THE SPIRITUAL LIFE OF THE SOCIETY: THE ANALYSIS OF B. N. CHICHERIN’S PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPT
Abstract
Th e paper studies the concept of the spiritual life of the society by B. N. Chicherin. Th e paper studies the basic notions of the concept and gives the interpretation of the principal elements of the spiritual system: religion, science, art, morals and education. Th e author stresses the basic assumptions which are of interest for contemporary science and social-political practice. Th e paper also contains comments on the debatable conclusions given by the scientist. Th e author formulates that spiritual life is explicated by B. N. Chicherin as a base of the objective reality of the society. Refs 9.
