ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN COUNTRIES WITH VARIOUS NATIONAL LEGAL SYSTEMS
Abstract
Human society can not survive without confl icts. Th roughout centuries, national legal proceedings system has remained one of the most eff ective confl ict-solving institutions. Furthermore, judicial litigations require serious time and money expenses, the pressure on the courts is signifi cant — this is why nowadays the interest in the alternative confl ict resolution methods is rapidly increasing. In the article diff erent alternative methods of confl ict resolution are described, such as: arbitration, mediation, negotiation and ombudsman. For more detailed and qualitative question research all these methods are considered in various national legal system frames. Analyzing all data mentioned in the article, one can fi gure out similarities and diff erences in usage of alternative confl ict resolution methods in various countries, make conclusions about which methods have the most popularity in the countries, which are in one or the other legal system.
