RUSSIAN IDEA AND UNIVERSAL CULTURE
Abstract
IIn the article the author criticizes the concept of universal culture ignoring specifi cs of national cultures. As argument the author uses N. Ya.Danilevsky, K. N. Leontyev, N. S. Trubetskoy, I. A. Ilyin’s works, and also works of Russian historians. Th e Russian idea is considered as diff erent from rationalistic ideas, it reveals the soul of the people, unites it. Historically Russian idea was expressed in aspiration to a unifi cation of lands, in formation of Sacred Russia and in creation of Great Russia. Th e domination of spirituality and search of the truth are estimated by the author as manifestations of the Russian idea. Refs. 15.
