METAPHYSICAL FOUNDATION OF CIVILIZATION STRATEGIES
Abstract
During the epoch of “axial time” in three regions kept away from each other: the Ancient Greece, India and China there are radical shift s in a cultural and political life. Th is event is estimated diff erently: Hegel sees in it consecutive change of three stages of self-development of World Spirit, Jaspers sees the beginning of three diff erent ways conducting to uniform result. However it is possible to interpret this transition as the beginning of three dispersing ways expressing various strategies of civilization development. Th e mental distinctions which have arisen in VI–IV centuries BC remain today, defi ning strategic lines of development of civilizations of the European, Indian and Chinese types. Refs 6.
