Sensual, symbolic and real in the analytical and psychoanalytic philosophy
Abstract
Th e article compares diff erent ideas of the philosophy of language: logical positivism, which patterns the denotation of empirical reality by every sign, and psychoanalysis, which approach the reality as the real of the subject of speech and desires inaccessible in consciousness. Th e author considers the phenomenon of «I» as having no extra-linguistic existence, as born in language and speech. Th e analysis of the sensitive nature of the sign shows that there exists non-anthropological version of the philosophy of desire, which interprets it as impersonal force or as a form of inter-subjectivity. Th e nature of the signifi cant is connected with the nature of desire, which is defi ned in the text of the article as a lack of signifi cance which is characteristic for the signifi cant.
