ETHICAL ASPECTS OF LIVING DONATION
Abstract
Th e article is devoted to the intersubjective relationship of the donor and the patient. Since the midtwentieth century donation has remained a relevant ethical and religious-ethical issue of particular interest when it comes to “live” donation — an organ transplant from a living and healthy donor. Here relationships of intersubjectivity take their own role. Th e donor and recipient are in a relationship of “Being with …” and “Being for the other.” Despite the fact that our right to “own” the body as property is not unproblematic, the act of donation of organs and tissues of living donor to a recipient in need, in most cases, is regarded by us as an event and deed. Th e most important idea is the concept of action, compassion and sacrifi ce, change the perception of their own being, both donor and recipient. Refs. 6.
