EURASIAN HORIZON OF RUSSIAN HISTORY
Abstract
Th e article is devoted to the problem of value bases and guidelines for development of Russian society. Th e author assumes that the history of Russia consists of two periods. From IX to XVI century Russian lands resisted East Asian nomadic quasi-States. Th is period is the opening of the Eurasian horizon. Th e period from the seventeenth century to the present has seen the development of the Eurasian space in the dual opposition of the Western European bourgeois civilization. Th e nature of this confl ict is caused by the diff erence of the spiritual-intellectual and socio-political foundations of Western and Russian-the Russian model of historical development. On the other hand in this historic confrontation issued Eurasian principles of sociocultural organization's existence. Refs 2.
