Abstract
Th is article considers the question about cooperation of Museum and Church on the modern stage, of religious and society world perception in the context of national culture and education. Church enriches Museum in traditional spheres of national perception of the world, exposing the soteriological, morally-psychological and symbolic-aesthetic range of problems. An accent is done on culturalreligious meanings, exposing the history of culture as a history of spiritual life of nation (paganism, Christianity, atheism, neopaganism, postmodernism). Th e study of Christian ontology and anthropology provides an opportunity to understand the evolution of ideas expressed through thematic content, image and visual expressive language. In the analysis of Russian and European culture it is necessary to imply the (traditional for Christian culture) directions in which artistic culture was investigated in trichotomies aspect, combining synchronic and diachronic methodology, based on major categories: "christocentrism, meaningcentrism and lovecentrism". Th e Church's understanding of the world helps to sanctify artistic styles and trends through images of spiritual life of the nation, its ideals and religious-mystical directions, revealing the interaction of religious and secular view of the world. Most important in this regard is the principle of spiritual-physical and theological-aesthetic integrity. Refs 2.
