ON ROLE OF CONCEPT OF CULTURE IN NIETZSCHE’S PHILOSOPHY
Abstract
Th e topics associated with the fate of culture are an important part of the creative legacy of F.Nietzsche. In his philosophy we do not fi nd a certain system of theory of culture, in its place he puts the intertwining of aphorisms, which is his perspective on the topic. In diff erent periods of the development of his philosophy, we can trace certain metaphors associated with the word “culture”, which create this perspective. Among them the most important metaphors are vitality and viability, the excess and the decline of culture, cultural aristocracy and nihilism, Dionysian and Apollonian dichotomy and critique of Christian culture. Th e author observes a certain trend of development of the concept of culture in Nietzsche’s philosophy and correlates it with the three periods of his creative evolution.
