SIGNS OF THE STATE IN F. NIEZSCHE, M. FOUCAULT AND J. DERRIDA
Abstract
Th e article deals with features of political symbols which cannot be investigated by methods of semiotics. Th e author includes Nietzsche’s theory of the big policy in the context of the main types of discourse about the state. Th e marks of the state, in turn, are investigated by means of speech act theory, theories of discourse and methods of visual anthropology. Th us the problem of meaning is solved, whereas resources of the theory of truth with regard to this problem were unsuccessful. Nietzsche’s genealogical method shows how statements become orders, verdicts, diagnoses, estimations, promises etc. in establishments of the state. Th e features of Nietzsche’s genealogy are traced in archeology of knowledge of M.Foucault, and in Derrida’s deconstruction. Hermeneutics and phenomenology investigate substantial aspects of language. Logical, analytical, structural and systemic approaches are based on quantitative methods. Th e paper attempts to combine these approaches and proposes an integrated model in which representational and performative techniques are used together.
