THE BLISSFUL FREEDOM OF HUMAN CHOICE. NIETZSCHE ON THE “TYPUS JESUS”
Abstract
Th e subject of the article — the “entirely in symbols and incomprehensibility fl oating being”, which Nietzsche attributes to the “Typus Jesus” in his book “Th e Antichrist”. Th e author shows the possibilities of human choice in a situation of nihilism, as well as in fear and despair of complete disorientation. Th e “Typus Jesus” lends a great amount of enthusiasm to the credibility that he was and become the Son of God. Philosophically speaking, the “Typus Jesus” is viewed in the real sense as an “Anti-Realist”. According to Nietzsche, he does not accept any “Realities” beyond symbols or signs of the language. In this manner he completely opens himself to the language, not allowing it to seduce himself. Th en there is no perceptible reality from which he may be led astray. Th e main thesis of this article is that Nietzsche carries out his aggressive battle against Christianity according to the passages on “Typus Jesus” in his book “Th e Anti-Christ” (Nr. 28–35) in order to expose the base of future, structuralist theory of signs, constructivist epistemology, anti-metaphysical philosophy of signs and philosophy of human choice.
