UNCERTAINTY: EVENT AND REFLECTION
Abstract
Th e article off ers an analysis of the contemporary concept of uncertainty. Th is concept is of invariant signifi cance for philosophy, culture, group and personal self-fulfi llment of social actors. Uncertainty is considered as event and refl ection, which gives the opportunity to understand its ontological, epistemological and ethical-aesthetic aspects. Fundamental diff erence, comparability and continuity of philosophical interpretations of uncertainty in the classical and modern context are shown. Th e article provides a semantic analysis of categorical terms close in meaning to uncertainty. It is shown that attention to ethical and aesthetic aspects of uncertainty is what provides the greatest opportunity for refl ection and foresight activities. Ultimately, uncertainty is about overcoming post-modern relativism and conceiving of meaningful gestures of «descent» unity of philosophy in many directions and currents of contemporary thought.
