On objectivity of technical progress
Abstract
Th e main concern of the article is to prove the objectivity of technology. Th is means that the technology embodied in the technical ideas is derived from the tendencies of development of technical devices that represent the necessary conditions of inventive activity. Justifi cation of objectivity of technological progress is a decisive argument to prove the objectivity of the social development and the main pillars of materialism in social cognition, as well as to understand how the technical inventions depend on the development of the industry. Th e objectivity of the technical inventions is that technical ideas being implemented in technological development are the result of its internal development, moreover, it can be proved by the fact that new technical devices are invented by improving the existing ones, developing the old devices, combining the mechanisms, and switching from a dead-end path of development into the new direction. Good education and engineering talent allow to use the opportunities to construct new devices in a prompt and effi cient way.
