Gesture as an act as an event
Abstract
The aim of the article is to attempt to consider a gesture as something that allows a transition from rational practices to existential states and vice versa. The analysis of such characteristics of rationality and existence as necessity of distance and involvement allows to conclude that the value (according to Saussure) is a unifying element. The consideration of a gesture as a deed and as an event allows to achieve the aim of the article. To this end we distinguish a false, an empty and a genuine gesture, the latter being the one that performs this transition.
