Multidimensionality tourism: philosophical, economic, political aspects

The article offers a philosophical analysis of the various aspects of tourism. Modern tourism is manifested in the form of social, cultural, economic, political phenomena. The author shows the need for a comprehensive study of tourism, reveals the relationship of the concepts “tourism” and “travel”, examines the distinction of tourism from other types of travel. Problems of tourism are covered in the aspect of its ontological essence. Also analyzed are the anthropological characteristics of tourism, tourism’s connection with such phenomena as nomadism and dramamine. Tourism is characterized as a social nomadism. The increasing need for movement is a universal property of modern man. With the article is analyzed the peculiarity of the existence of tourism as an economic phenomenon. In this aspect, tourism appears as a completely different entity manifestation. Tourism is a diversified economic complex which unites enterprises of different industries. The author gives an analysis of tourism in its political and geopolitical aspects. In this sense, tourism is in the aspect of flows. Massive tourist flows have a pronounced geopolitical influence. The article deals with the emerging actors and centers of influences of tourism, the formation of a special space tourist flows. Refs 13.
