Th e article analyses relevant problems related to the formation of Russian philosophical journalism in the early twentieth century. In this context, we examine the problem of social ideal in the journal “Problems of Philosophy and Psychology.” Th e article examines the work of N. Y. Grot, L. M. Lopatin, P. I. Novgorodtsev and E. N. Trubetskoy and displays features of the editorial policy of the journal in 1917. Refs 12.
