PHILOSOPHY AND SCIENCE
Abstract
Th e article is the result of the author’s presentation at a conference on the relationship between philosophy and science at the present stage. In this regard, it is argued that from all areas of philosophical knowledge, philosophy of science is closest to the science, so to speak, genetically (it is not for nothing that the ancient philosophies were called natural philosophy). But all other areas of contemporary philosophical knowledge are associated with science: otherwise the generalizations formulated in them are without suffi cient grounds. Refs. 8.
