DIRECTIVITY DYNAMICS DURING THE PROCESS OF MEDIATORS’ EDUCATION
Abstract
Th e article is concerned with the problem of mediation directivity getting arising signifi cance along with mediation practice development and spreading in Russia. Th e discussion character of this problem is pointed, the provocative factors increasing directivity in mediator’s work are identifi ed and connected with court practice. Th e directivity notion is analyzed, the author’s understanding and classifi cation of directivity is presented. Expert and process directivity are identifi ed and their presence in diff erent styles of mediation is revealed. Th e author formulates hypotheses about dynamics and special features of specialists’ directive attitudes transformation during educational process. Th e results of experimental research are presented. Th ey prove the nonlinear character of rigid directive behavioral scenarios and their connection with advancing cognitive complexity and deepness. Distinguishing features of the process of attitudes’ transformation providing loyalty to mediation basic principles and increasing its practical effi ciency are shown. Th e risks of specialists’ regression to directive attitudes aft er fi nishing education and some possibilities to consolidate constructive changes. Refs 13. Table 1.
