«Philosophy always begins in the middle…»
Abstract
The article deals with the interrelation between philosophical and literary texts from the perspective of self-realization. The author argues against the Constance School of Reception Aesthetics, especially Wolfgang Iser (“Th e implicit reader”), which is characterized by blending of literature and anthropology, literary theory and philosophical hermeneutics. The author refers to the tradition of early German idealism and literary Romanticism. Based on Fr. Shlegel and Fr. Shleyermaher`s works, the article suggests overcoming the limits of systemic forms of philosophy, a style of philosophizing which was influenced by Kant’s transcendentalism, and favours a return to intellectual traditions of the ancient dialectics. The author also refers to the concept of “infinite approximation” introduced by K. L. Rayngold and its influence on the formation of a constructive philosophical doctrine of Schleiermacher’s philosophy as a system and philosophizing as an “endless task”.
