Abstract

The subject of conflictology is a conflict. Conflictology is a complete theoretical and applied science which interprets negative ways of interaction, their causes and proposes effective ways to prevent conflicts and maintain peace and stability. Conflictology is a structured area of social and philosophical knowledge, an academic discipline which relates with new characteristics of globalizing world and immediate needs of the harmonization of social experience and interpersonal relationships of a modern man. The development of education in Conflictology at SPSU and other universities in the country is based on the needs of the modern Russian society. Conflictology as an educational program is fully institutionalized.
